The Onion Meets The Wall Street Journal

For a long time now I have loved The Onion, but they never do enough business content for a business news junkie like me. So a few months ago, I decided I might as well create my own site. Capitalist Banter has been up for a while, but I’ve been cycling through writers and tweaking the design. There is still much more to do, but it’s at the point where I am finally ready to share.

I don’t have any major long term goals for this site other than to have some fun and provide some good business satire for the small potential audience that may be interested. I hope to take on a little ad revenue at some point to make it self sustaining, but otherwise, I’m not pushing it too hard.

Below are some of my favorite posts - the posts that I think capture what the site should be. If you have any feedback I would love to hear it.

Mcdonald’s Unveils the Big Freddie Mac

Jim Cramer to Auction Off Remaining Dignity

Social Media Strategists Scratching Heads About GM Failure

Blue Cross Blue Shield Targets the Gangsta Market

We even have a little bit of video.

I hope you get a few laughs out of it all. And of course, if you have something to submit, send it to rob-at-capitalistbanterdotcom.
